Well, without a context it’s a little difficult to answer, but I’ll do my best. :)
I think you have two options, basically. You can either make a new, solid plan (which I know you’ve done and doesn’t seem to work) or you can abandon the situation altogether. It sounds like you’re in a pretty difficult position but it sounds like you want to resolve it one way or another.
You say the word “stuck”, but you know, nobody is EVER stuck. There’s always the possibility of movement, even if it’s hard and especially if it involves emotional attachment. I’ve been in the same situation myself and untangling emotions takes a lot of hard work and time. That’s what makes it so frustrating.
But sometimes you need to be selfish and think about what YOU want and what will make YOU happy. Sometimes you need to go through a period of unhappiness to get to the good stuff, you know?
If you have a set goal in mind - the place you want to be, then you should fix on that as your destination. Yes, there will be fallout on the way but in the end, will you be happy? If the answer is “yes”, then you need to work towards that no matter what.
I wish you luck. Let me know how it goes, okay? :)
